Case 7: Tony
Tony fractured his tooth in a bike riding accident. Due to the extent and location of the breakage, there was an inadequate amount of tooth structure to support a restoration. In lieu of surgery, we decided the best cosmetic approach would be to use a technique called "forced eruption". This allowed us to preserve the contours of the gumline while gaining the extra support needed for the crown. Tony was very pleased with the perfect cosmetic result.
