Dental cosmetics are integral to the overall cosmetics of the face. We know that the appearance of the smile is often quoted as being the most important aspect of an attractive person and we also know that the smile can project an image of self-confidence and high personal esteem.

Dental cosmetics are typically thought of as changing the appearance of teeth usually through bleaching or some type of restoration. Due to Dr. Jackson's advanced training in Periodontics and Periodontal-Prosthesis, he understands that the gum tissue is often equally important in the cosmetics of the smile. There may be deficiencies, discolorations, or asymmetries within the gums that will inevitably diminish any cosmetic restorative treatment.
